Inside Leonard’s Lookout
A spacious traditional cave house in rural Andalusia, with naturally cool interiors, generous living spaces and wide mountain views.
A PRIVATE CAVE HOUSE IN SPAIN
Spaces to gather, rooms to retreat
A visual tour of our private cave house, its indoor living spaces, outdoor terraces and the facilities included during your stay.
Leonard’s Lookout is a spacious private cave house in Spain, set in rural Granada and designed for your exclusive use. Inside, traditional cave rooms sit alongside modern bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and several living areas. A dedicated office may also be available by prior arrangement. Outside, guests have private terraces, seating areas, a four-person spa and open mountain views.
Living and dining spaces
Leonard’s Lookout has three separate lounge areas, giving larger groups plenty of room to spread out.
The different living spaces can be used for quiet reading, watching television, socialising or simply escaping the heat of the day inside the naturally cooler cave rooms.
A separate dining room provides a central place for shared meals, while the layout allows guests to spend time together without everyone being confined to one room.
The kitchen
The kitchen is fully equipped for guests who want to prepare meals during their stay.
It provides the main appliances, cookware, crockery and preparation space needed for everyday self-catering, whether you are making a quick breakfast or cooking for the whole group.
Its position within the house keeps it connected to the dining and living areas without turning the main rooms into one large open-plan space.
Four double bedrooms
The cave house has four dedicated double bedrooms, accommodating up to eight guests without using any of the lounges or communal areas as sleeping spaces.
Each bedroom has its own character, shaped by the natural form of the cave house. The thick walls help create quieter, naturally cooler sleeping spaces, particularly during the warmer months.
All four rooms are furnished with comfortable mattresses and quality bedding, giving couples, families and groups of friends their own private sleeping space.
Three bathrooms
Guests have access to three modern bathrooms during their stay.
Having multiple bathrooms makes the house more practical for larger groups and reduces the need for everyone to share a single central facility.
The bathrooms combine modern fittings with the unusual shapes and textures of the original cave structure.
AVAILABLE BY PRIOR ARRANGEMENT
A dedicated office for planning and processing
Leonard’s Lookout has a dedicated workspace designed for guests who need more than a laptop on the dining table.
The office includes spacious walnut worktops, a three-screen computer setup, wired Starlink and a wireless printer, creating a practical place for planning, remote work and detailed image processing.
It is particularly useful for astrophotographers who need space to review data, plan imaging sessions or work through photographs during their stay. Guests bringing their own equipment can also read more about our astrophotography accommodation in Spain.
Starlink Wi-Fi is available throughout the property, providing a reliable connection for online planning, cloud access and everyday work.
For general holiday bookings, access to the office is not automatically included, so guests should confirm availability before their stay.
Views that draw you outside
Guests have private outdoor space at both the front and rear of the cave house, providing separate areas for eating, relaxing and setting up equipment throughout the day and evening.
FRONT TERRACE AND MOUNTAIN VIEWS
The front terrace looks out across the surrounding rural landscape and open mountain views.
It is a place for morning coffee, outdoor meals or sitting outside as the light changes across the landscape.
The open outlook also helps give Leonard’s Lookout the sense of space and seclusion that is difficult to show through interior photographs alone.

Every booking is for the complete property.
