Leonard's Lookout is a traditional cave house in Fuente Nueva, Granada province, created for adults who want a different kind of stay.
It is not a hotel, a resort or a packed itinerary disguised as a holiday. It is a private home with naturally cool cave rooms, generous shared spaces, wide mountain views and the freedom to let each day unfold at its own pace.
Inside, there are four double bedrooms, three bathrooms, three lounge areas, a dining room, fully equipped kitchen and dedicated office. The front terrace looks across open countryside towards the surrounding mountains, while the rural setting reveals Bortle 3 skies after dark. A place that feels distinctive without being difficult, peaceful without being isolated and comfortable without losing its character.

We are Adrian and VJ
We bought Leonard’s Lookout in October 2022 after falling in love with it almost at first sight. The cave house, open mountain views and sense of stillness felt different from anywhere else we had seen.
Making it our home took longer than planned. After several years navigating the complications of moving after Brexit, we finally arrived in Spain in March 2025, with every intention of making rural Andalucía our permanent home.
Since buying the property, we have improved it gradually, taking care to preserve the character of the cave house while making it more comfortable, practical and enjoyable for the people who stay here.
We are both bikers, so quiet roads, open landscapes and having somewhere comfortable to return to after a day exploring naturally appeal to us. Adrian is also an amateur astrophotographer, which has influenced the practical astro side of the property.
Those interests have helped shape Leonard’s Lookout, but they do not define who it is for. Our aim is to offer somewhere personal rather than corporate: a home that has been shaped slowly, cared for properly and shared with guests who appreciate what makes it different.
